About me
Hello and welcome!
My name is Jen Hewitt and this is my website - dedicated to honouring the body, mind and spirit, and I am so glad you are here.
I am a certified Ayurvedic Health instructor with certifications in Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness, Pranayama (conscious breath-work), and Reiki.
Before becoming a holistic wellness professional, I began my career as a corporate lawyer. After nearly two decades in the legal profession I was ready to take a personal wellness journey and return to wholeness.
I had spent a lifetime studying, learning and practising my craft but did not know what was happening in my body from the neck down. When I lost my Mother to cancer, I knew that there had to be a better way to live in the body and prevent disease. This led me to my first yoga teacher training in 2022. From there I came to appreciate how the body and mind work together and began using somatic healing tools to recalibrate from stress and disconnection in my own body.
I now devote my time to sharing the gift of well-being with others.
If you are ready to change something in 2026 but need some encouragement to find your path, I look forward to meeting you where you are with practical and accessible tools and guidance to support your personal wellness journey.

“Jennifer’s mindfulness and meditation session was exactly what our student recruits needed to release stress and recharge. With her guidance they were able to reset, refocus...many participants shared how valuable the session was and how much they appreciated the opportunity to pause and reconnect.”

Ginger & Lemon Tea
Simply the best tea you will ever taste - you will never want to buy conventional tea bags again!
Ginger is known as the universal medicine in Ayurveda.
Drinking a few cups of warm ginger tea throughout the day, is grounding, healing and balancing for all Doshas.
In addition to its anti-inflammatory properties, ginger stimulates digestion and detoxification, is a natural antibacterial, and can boost immune system and gut health. If that isn’t enough to get you excited, Ginger tea before meals can help reduce cravings for salt and sugar.
I drink this tea beginning in the Fall and throughout the Winter. Whenever I share it with friends, I get so many requests for the recipe. This tea tastes even better when shared, so here it is!
With only a few inexpensive ingredients you might already have in your pantry, you can be enjoying your own delicious and healing ginger tea anytime:
2-3” piece of fresh unpeeled organic ginger root (about the size of your thumb), coarsely chopped
the juice from 1/2 of a freshly squeezed organic lemon
a large tablespoon of raw or organic honey (optional), and
4 cups of water.
Begin by adding your ginger and water to a pot and bring to a gentle simmer on medium heat. Allow your tea to simmer and steep for about 15 minutes or until the flavour of the ginger is just right. Remove the pot from heat and pour tea into a large teapot (or a mason jar for tea to go!), add the fresh lemon juice and stir in the honey until dissolved.
Pour into your favourite tea cup and enjoy!
